That's equal to 1 person per:
The number of expected occurrences in the US:
(pop:330,000,000)
Instructions:

If there is a 1 in a Probability field, click any disorder button to put that probability in the other field, or enter one manually, to see that disorder's statistics.

The check switches everytime a button is clicked, unless there is a 1 in one of the probability fields.

OR (erase the 1 from the probability field, or just click the Reset button)

Enter a probability (prevalence) in both fileds, either manually or click 2 disorder buttons . Then click Submit to see the stats for those disorders' co-occurence. It assumes they are unrelated.

If the disorders are related, then the real world stats will be higher.

Examples:
1. With a 1 in one of a Probability field, click any of the disorder buttons to see the statistics for that disorder.

2. Click the Reset button. Then click the Schizoprenia button and then the Gender Dysphoria button. Then click Submit.

This will show the predicted statstics for those 2 disorders occurring together, if the 2 disorders are unrelated, just 2 random occurrences.

For instance, one would not expect their ankle to start hurting if they caught a cold. The 2 conditions are not related. If they do start occurring often together in people, one has to start wondering how they're connected. By the same token, if real-world frequencies are higher than predicted, the 2 disorders are likely related, somehow.

When 2 of these disorders on this page occur together, and their real-world frequencies are higher than predicted, their neurological commonalities are the reason.
